Biblical Worship: At Sycamore Baptist Church, we believe that the Bible is God’s perfect standard for all of life. Our worship is guided by the teaching of Scripture. This conviction informs everything we do in our gatherings: public reading of Scripture, congregational singing, corporate prayer, and expositional preaching through whole books of the Bible. We are a church that loves, believes, and teaches the Bible.

Congregational Singing: Our worship team leads the congregation in singing songs from the Hymns of Grace songbook. When you visit Sycamore, you can expect to hear a congregation singing songs that are rich in biblical truth and magnify Jesus Christ as Lord.

Christian Community: Our goal is to build relationships and minister in all that we do..

• Every Sunday we enjoy a food fellowship from 4-4:45 PM. We gather downstairs to eat and enjoy getting to know one another.

• By 5 PM, we start our services upstairs. As our pictures show, we have organized our seating around tables to provide an environment of intentional discipleship.

  • In these groups around our tables, we fellowship before the service, we sing together, we listen to God’s word preached together.

  • Something unique about Sycamore is that after the preaching we have a time of discussion in our small groups to discuss questions about the sermon.

  • Then we come together as a group to bring insights discovered at our tables to the group as a whole, blessing all there.

  • Many families will stay after service to visit as well as we enjoy dessert, again at our tables or with others attending.

• We have an age-diverse congregation, so we love to see people of all ages come to worship and fellowship with us! Our dress tends to be informal and there is no expectation for specific attire; we’d love to get to know you in t-shirt and jeans or in a dress or tie.
