Travis Cowdrey-Teaching Pastor

Travis is a native of the Lewis-Clark Valley who is passionate about church planting in the area. Through the discipleship efforts of his parents and the local church, Travis came to saving faith in Christ as a child. He completed his bachelor’s degree in business management at Grand Canyon University before being called into ministry. He is married to his wife Semeia, and they have two children. Travis is currently studying at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary to earn his Master’s of Divinity. He loves God’s Word and loves being able to preach the Word in the local church.

In his free time, Travis enjoys spending time with his family, coaching baseball, watching sports, and reading books on theology. Some of his favorite theologians are Charles Spurgeon, John Owen, Jonathan Edwards, John Calvin, and Martin Luther.

Dave Baumgartner-Elder

Dave was born in the early 50’s in Moscow, ID, and grew up on his family’s farm, attending Genesee schools with a 2 year stint at a Catholic boarding school. Dave attended Oregon State University and graduated with a B. S. in Mathematics. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force, and served 4 years at Eglin AFB, FL. Dave was born “again” in Fort Walton Beach, FL, in August 1977, shortly after marrying the love of his life, Mary Newsome. Dave & Mary moved back to Genesee in 1979 where he began farming with his Dad and brother, and joined Trinity Baptist Church in Moscow, ID. He was ordained as a deacon, then later as an elder. Dave has served as a Sunday School teacher and director, as well as on pastor search committees, building committees, with the AWANA program, and missions committee. Dave also served as the building director of the current Trinity Baptist facility in Moscow.

In addition to farming and building a church building, Dave has worked for the county assessor and for the University of Idaho. Dave & Mary are retired, and continue to live on the family farm. They have 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren.

Robert Selzler-Elder

Robert was born and raised in the LC Valley and became a believer by God's grace in 2004 at the age of 21. He's blessed to be married to Julia (18 years and counting); together they have been gifted with four children. He's passionate about teaching, both in and out of the church, and has served as a youth pastor, deacon, Sunday school superintendent, and elder. He works as a principal and program manager for an online school remotely from his home in Genesee. His church passions are practical biblical ecclesiology, hospitality, small-group discipleship, and church planting/revitalization in the Quad Cities. He holds a few degrees, but most importantly he's a proud Vandal ('10). In his free time, he enjoys games of all types, gardening, coffee roasting (and coffee drinking!), tent-trailer camping, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
